Strategic partnership for vocational integration of disadvantaged young people
“PeB – vocational perspective” is a development partnership within the Community Initiative EQUAL.

EQUAL is financed by the European Social Fund (ESF). Its objective is to prevent and fight unemployment through innovative measures in transnational co-operation.
The development partnership PeB is a network of ten projects, that are carried out by different organisations. The network is co-ordinated by the City of Hildesheim, the duration of the project is from 01.07.2005 – 31.12.2007.
Aims of the development partnership PeB – vocational perspective
- lasting integration in vocational training and occupation.
- reduction of Abbruchquoten in education.
- re-integration in educational processes.
Individual counselling and coaching at an early stage within vocational orientation as well as senzitisation for special needs of the target group are important conditions for sucessful and lasting integration in first vocational training. A smooth transition from school to profession is also supported by specific pre-vocational qualification and practical phases within vocational orientation. The offers of PeB meet the experiences and competences of the young people. According to these ideas, a network of relevant protagonists carries out a co-operative concept, which is subject to constant monitoring, adjustment and development.
